Campers on Mission serves the NC State Fair workers through out the duration of the fair. They provide hot meals, basic needs such as hair cuts, minor first aid, clothing, and toiletries. They share the love of Christ and offer prayer and devotionals to workers. New Direction Bluegrass is one of many performers volunteering time to play music for these workers as they rest from the stresses of fair life. The music is also available to fairgoers as well and is located beside the white church behind the village of yesteryear.
